Ahmed is a Senior IT Project Manager and Medical Laboratory Scientist who has spent more than 25 years delivering complex technology initiatives across government and enterprise environments — and now works at the laboratory bench. SampleVerify grew out of that combination: seeing firsthand how specimen mislabeling is still caught by a manual visual label check, and knowing exactly how to replace it with a verified, automated one.

He specializes in managing cross-functional teams, aligning stakeholders, and delivering projects on time, within scope, and with measurable value.
After graduating from a Medical Laboratory Technology program and becoming ASCP certified, he went to work in the lab to gain real bench experience — and to find the places where technology could genuinely help. Specimen identity verification was the clearest one. SampleVerify is the result: a clinical patient-safety application built by someone who has run the workflow it protects.
